to do and october in pictures

october was a very busy month for us, to say the least.  i know the posts were lacking but believe me it was an eventful month with little time to post.

november will be a good and busy month too.  i put off so many things that this month will be full.  excuse me while i post my list of things to do:

1. bake something - banana bread, pumpkin muffins and a loaf of bread.  i crave the smell of something baking in the oven.
2. start my december daily album - i have all of the supplies (ok maybe i could use a few more things) but for the most part i have what i need and just need some time to get started.
3. find a dress for the wedding - the boys have their tuxes, sofia has her flower girl dress and shoes, and i'm still looking.  the wedding is in two weeks, i'm sure i'll find something.
4. make a grocery list for the whole week - in october i didn't stick to my menu planning, or should i say i did not have a plan.  i played the, "what should we have for dinner tonight" game.  that's too much stress for me and it ends up being too costly.  plus there are so many recipes that i want to try this month.
5. decide on christmas cards - i think i have a plan.  hopefully we can get it together before the end of the month.
6. figure out an 80's style outfit for my sister-in-law's birthday party.  this should be fun.
7. get through mock trial - the competition is this wednesday.  they've been practicing, we borrowed  a suit and we're all set.  everyone is feeling the nerves.  it's their first competition and we just want them to do well.
8. laundry - oh yeah that...
9. plan something for bobby's birthday.  it's in a month.
10. work on the baby shower for sarah.  lot's planned already with melissa and becky.  
11. take jordan to swim practice - we slacked off these last two weeks with the crummy weather and so much to do.  but the championships are in two weeks so it's time to work hard.
12. figure out how to put up the tent for the mother-son campout this weekend at school. 

plus we have guests coming this weekend, dentist appointments for the boys, jordan will get his braces on the day before thanksgiving, grandparent's day at school, soccer, swimming, baseball and school projects.  i'm telling you it's busy around here.
