celebrating the end of a tough week. |
i mean because all of our weeks tend to be crazy these days.
but looking back on a monday morning, feeling peaceful for the first time in a while, i can sincerely say it was a crazy week.
school holiday boutique, parade float making, parade, hanukkah celebration, two birthdays, colonial days for andrew's class, high school entrance (practice) exam, basketball practice everyday, a mile a day and a daughter with a cold.
insane!
but we made it through, like always.
this week it's all about christmas.
i'm sitting here with the christmas tree on, making a (to-do) list, and getting ready to tackle the week.
we ordered our cards yesterday. i want to put up a little tree in sofia's room. the kids have been asking about the christmas bedding (who knew?) and the advent calendar. i may be a little late but i'm feeling the christmas spirit and it feels good.
first things first.
making this week:
monday: minestrone soup, french bread
tuesday: entomatadas, rice
wednesday: bbq salmon, mashed potatoes, green beans
thursday: crock pot santa fe chicken bowl
friday: pizza
saturday: eat out
sunday: eat out
wishing you a peaceful week.
