2013 weekly menu: week 50


inspired to make my own sauce last week.  lots of cooking time, but so worth it.
week 50?
gulp.

i had to check the calendar a few times to make sure my number was correct.  and it is.  week 50 of 52. day 344 of 365.  crazy huh?

getting ready for christmas and celebrating the days in between.  this week alone has notre dame fall sports award banquet, mother's guild meeting and holiday social, sharing traditions in 2nd grade (making tamales), kids' holiday concert, a getaway to palm springs, cookie bake and my dad's company christmas/birthday party.  how will it fit into one week?


weekend eats:
saturday: pizza and salad for my nephews birthday
sunday: pizza and salad for my mom's birthday

making this week:
monday: tomato soup and grilled cheese
tuesday: lemon chicken and hummus, rice and salad
wednesday: bbq salmon, mashed potatoes and lemon broccoli 
thursday: scrambled egg burritos (it's concert night)
friday: eat out
