an a-ha moment

my sister and i got on a plane this morning heading to...

Chicago

to see...

to say we are excited can't even begin to describe how we feel.
to say this has been a dream for the two of us is an understatement.
the fact that we get to share this experience together is so much sweeter than i could have ever wished for.

this will be a super quick trip.  less than 48 hours.  but we have packed in as much as possible.  as long as the weather cooperates we should be able to get a good feel of the windy city.

of course i will take a ton of pictures and share with you when we get back.  i truly can't believe we are doing this.
